How can we be thankful in all things? First Thessalonians 5:16 -18 tells us…“Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks; for it is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
You might be thinking…Can that be true? Am I actually supposed to be joyful forever, pray continually, give thanks for everything, and trust that everything is all God’s will for me?

Birthdays are such a precious time to celebrate all that God can do in the life of those who choose to follow HIM.
I never thought I would live this long! But…I am so very happy that I have.
I am so immeasurably grateful that I answered the Holy Spirit’s call on my life.
I have absolutely no doubt that I would have died in my sin…so many years ago…had I not chosen to follow Jesus.

Our passion nature is the connecting tie to all unholy manifestations. Indeed, the biggest life struggle each of us has is between our passion nature (what we want – even to our detriment) and our spiritual nature (following God’s will for us). You may think a pure and holy life is boring and not worth the effort. Fortunately, you are wrong. Living life as our Creator intended actually brings balance, joy, harmony, and life to the chaos of our daily existance. This allows us the ability to prioritize our life with God the head of every compartment, which in turn brings every thing under submission to His will.

Many consider the Holy Spirit the most mysterious member of the Divine Three. He is our Divine Guest. May we remember always that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit.
